Project Sharing
I used photos, a tri-fold board, and a device comparison in my courage project to help showcase my work.

The three most interesting things I learned about my topic were:
1) That all phone camera's are distinct.
2) Sometimes the SLR isn't always better.
3) That android phones have better camera's.
Three challenges I faced were:
1) Finding things to take photos of.
2) Writing my ted talk.
3) Doing the citations and alphabetizing them.
Reflection
1. The genius hour experience was different and it showed me how much effort people put into things they love doing
2. The genius hour experience taught me a lot about trying new things and experiencing the world.
My Exhibit
I think my exhibit went really well, though I was nervous. I had only finished my ted talk the day before but, I had a good idea on what my ted talk included. I felt a lot more confident when I realized that only my class would be viewing our projects because after spending so much time with them in the same class, it was easy for me to talk like it was any other day. I think almost everyone who were viewing the projects saw my project and the last ten minutes, I was able to go watch other people's projects. I think that next year, I would like to incorporate more courage into my project because I am not sure if many people understood if my project took courage.
Ideas from other students
I really liked Natalie's idea of going vegan for two weeks to fight against animal cruelty. I also liked how she went for the long term and decided to become pescetarian at the end. This showed that the courage project had some impact on her life. I also really liked Eleni's idea of digging deep into the 1950s women fashion and making her own dress. This took courage and it was fun learning about how women were thought to be and wore in the 50s.
The end
In the end, I really enjoyed the whole experience and I felt that I should have done the young wonders project last year, as I would have enjoyed it. I think that if we continued this idea of a courage project into 8th grade, we could be able to reach our potential of maybe even changing the school or the world. I think that the courage project let me learn a lot about myself and my classmates and brought us together in a way. I will always remember this project and use the skills it taught me in my future life and career.
